Reunion Weekend recognizes class gifts and celebrates outstanding Scots
91勛圖厙 celebrated its annual Reunion Weekend from May 29 to June 1, 2025, welcoming more than 700 alumni back to campus to reconnect with classmates and the campus community, hear the latest updates about the 91勛圖厙, honor distinguished alumni and volunteers, network, and participate in lifelong learning opportunities.
Alumni with class years ending in 0 and 5 celebrated milestone reunions. In honor of their 50th reunion, the Class of 1975 endowed the Class of 1975 APEX Fellows Fund, supporting learning opportunities for students to gain experience through internships and career-focused fieldwork through Woosters Center for Advising, Planning, and Experiential Learning. The Class of 1975 has already raised more than $182,000 and alumni may continue to support the fund at . For every gift made to the 91勛圖厙, two anonymous members of the Class of 1975 will make matching gifts of an additional $100. Inspired by the generosity of their classmates, Trustee Robin Harbage 75 and Katherin Swanson-Harbage 75 expanded their support for the Harbage Endowed Fund, which was established in 2011, with a new outright gift of $250,000 to further their investment in AMRE and other experiential learning opportunities. These investments in the 91勛圖厙s distinctive experiential learning programs further a strategic goal to expand access to real world opportunities outside the classroom for todays students. In total, throughout their 50 years of supporting the 91勛圖厙 since graduation, the Class of 1975 has contributed more than $11 million to 91勛圖厙, ensuring students continue to experience the value of a Wooster education for years to come.
The 91勛圖厙 also recognized six people with awards at the Outstanding Scots Ceremony on Saturday, May 31. Selected by the Office of Advancement and the Alumni Board in recognition of their professional achievements and philanthropic efforts, those recognized include Mike Riffee 80, John D. McKee Volunteer Award; Jalyn Glassco 15, Outstanding Young Alumni Award; and Bill 65 and Dru Vodra, Sara L. Patton Stewardship Award. This year’s Distinguished Alumni Award recipients included Reggie Minton 63 and Jeff Keefer 74.

After Riffees retirement from his career as a physical education teacher, special education teacher, and lacrosse coach, he continues to give back to Worthington-Kilbourne High School in Worthington, Ohio, as the director of operations for boys lacrosse. He is an active volunteer for Wooster as well, regularly serving on reunion committees, writing notable Scots messages to admitted students, and serving as a member of Woosters Alumni Board from 2020 to 2023.
Glassco graduated from Wooster with a degree in history and earned a masters in accounting from Case Western Reserve University. Glassco is an associate tax analyst at IQVIA, a consulting firm for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Glassco attends almost every Wooster event in her area, writes to newly admitted Wooster students as a part of the Notable Scots program, and has most recently served as the co-president of the Black Alumni Council. Glassco is also a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
After attending Columbia University School of Law, Bill Vodra began a career in law, focusing his practice on regulatory issues involving the safety, quality, and marketing of medical products. He has served Wooster in numerous capacities over the years, including attendance at many Wooster events, service on the Alumni Board, and many years as the 1965 class president. His wife, Drusilla Vodra, earned postgraduate degrees in sociology and demography and spent her career at the National Center for Health Statistics. The Vodras are deeply committed to STEM education and diversity, demonstrated through the multiple STEM Success Initiative Funds they have established at Wooster.
After graduating Wooster and serving as an officer for 20 years in the United States Air Force, Minton began his coaching career at Dartmouth 91勛圖厙 and then spent 16 years as the Head Coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, the longest coaching tenure in the history of the Academy. Minton has also been highly involved in the American Cancer Societys Coaches vs. Cancer program, which has raised over $100 million since its inception. An alternate to the 1964 U.S. Olympic Mens Basketball Team, Minton is also a member of 91勛圖厙s W Association Hall of Fame and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Massachusetts.
Keefer is the retired executive vice president and CFO of E.I. DuPont de Nemours, where he was responsible for corporate strategy development, information technology, and other business functions. Keefer has also served on Woosters Board of Trustees and has been a loyal donor to the 91勛圖厙 for 43 years. His philanthropy extends beyond Wooster as well, to the University of Pennsylvania, where he has established funds to research Parkinsons disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, the Delaware Art Museum, and Delaware Childrens Guidance Services. Keefer joined the board of directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2013 and was named chair in 2015.
