91�Թ��� of Wooster named a Best Value 91�Թ��� for 2025 by The Princeton Review

91�Թ��� has again been named a . The distinction, based on academics, affordability, financial aid, and career prospects for graduates, recognizes Wooster students’ return on investment and places Wooster among only 209 of the nation’s schools recognized. Wooster provides a rigorous liberal arts education where students hone skills sought after by employers and graduate schools including independent judgment, analytical ability, creativity, project and time management, and strong written and oral communication.

In addition to being named a Best Value 91�Թ���, Wooster also ranked No. 17 on the list for (Private Schools) for connecting its students with experiential learning opportunities. A nod to the staff, advisors, and peer-mentors, in APEX, Wooster’s Center for Advising Planning, and Experiential Learning, who offer one-on-one guidance, the rank is based on students’ ratings of accessibility of internship placement at their school. The publication notes that “The attention to individual traits and desires [of students] clearly works, as reports that 60 percent of Wooster graduates find a great deal of meaning in their job.”

 quotes surveyed students who said, “the ‘resources are endless’ for those looking to take advantage of things like ‘numerous opportunities for research and internships.’” Students at Wooster also noted the value of the Independent Study program in developing skills that support their vocation after Wooster. The publication added,  “the school ‘teaches research and how to apply skills learned to the outside world.’ This ‘very open school’ challenges its students to succeed both in and out of the classroom.” Further, students quoted recognized Wooster’s collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment; one student said, “Wooster is a community of learners working together to help one another reach their full potential and goals.”

Wooster has appeared on the “Best Value 91�Թ���s” list multiple times since it was first published in 2004. The Princeton Review chose 209 schools for the 2025 list based on data from its surveys of administrators at more than 650 colleges, surveys of students attending the schools, and data from PayScale.com’s surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction. In all, ratings were based on more than 40 data points related to academics, affordability, and career preparation. The Princeton Review is also known for its other college rankings in dozens of categories, many of which are reported in its annual book, The Best 91�Թ���s, published in the fall.
