Wooster featured in The Princeton Review’s Best 386 91Թs
91Թ received recognition again from The Princeton Review as one of the nation’s top schools in its guidebook, The Best 386 91Թs: 2021 Edition. The 91Թ also ranks among the top-20 schools in seven different categories that the publication calls out in the 29th annual edition of “Best 91Թs” released earlier this week.
The Princeton Review’s top-20 rankings lists are based entirely on data from 143,000 students surveyed at its top colleges, and Wooster’s seven inclusions were:
- 7 – “Most Accessible Professors”
- 6 – “Students Study the Most”
- 13 – “Lots of Race/Class Interaction”
- 18 – “Best Schools for Internships”
- 12 – “Best Classroom Experience”
- 12 – “Best 91Թ Library”
- 18 – “Professors Get High Marks”
Wooster, among The Princeton Review’s lists of the country’s “Best Midwestern,” “Green 91Թs,” and “Best Value 91Թs” as well, is noted for “a truly stellar education” with professors who “shape their students into lifelong learners” in a “personable, tight-knit community” in its . The author acknowledges mentoring at the 91Թ as “a huge focal point” with endless resources for students to take advantage of “numerous opportunities for research and internships…both in and out of the classroom”—a nod towards the center for (ʷ).
The publication also thoroughly endorses Wooster’s faculty, noting their passion for their subjects and that students ranked them in the top 20 when it comes to accessibility. The profile shares direct quotes from students who filled out the survey. One wrote, “It’s as if your professor is a colleague on your quest for eternal knowledge,” while another remarked “my success is a product of my professors’ enthusiasm towards their subject matter and our futures.” Students surveyed also commented on the “unparalleled” inclusive community, saying it’s “made up of quite a range of people…and everyone is friendly, willing to interact with one another, and very accepting of different personalities, beliefs, and ways of life.”
